MathAlive! now at National Museum of the U.S.A.F.
MathAlive! opens next in Dayton area at National Museum of the U.S. Air Force
Raytheon Selects the Museum as a host Site for its MathAlive! Interactive Exhibit in 2016
The Raytheon MathAlive! traveling exhibition will open at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, near Dayton, on July 23, 2016. Visitors can virtually ride a snowboard, design (and play) their own video games, jump into a fractal dance party, and even design custom skateboards for “pop” – the quick, snapping motion that allows a board to do the best tricks.
MathAlive! is presented nationally and underwritten at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force by Raytheon. (Federal endorsement is not implied.)
The MathAlive! exhibit uses 40 unique, interactive experiences to transform math from its native form into easy-to-understand applications of design, engineering, technology and science.
There are six themed galleries covering more than 5,000 square feet of space:
