MathAlive now open at California Science Center

The Raytheon MathAlive! traveling exhibit will appear at California Science Center, from October 4, 2019 through January 5, 2020. The exhibit offers visitors the chance to ride a snowboard in a 3D experience, capture your 360-degree image in a unique interactive, jump into a fractal dance party, and even design a custom skateboard for “pop”—the quick, snapping motion that allows a board to do the best tricks.
The MathAlive! exhibit uses dozens of unique, interactive experiences to transform math from its native form into the fascinating applied worlds of design, engineering, technology and science.

There are six themed areas in the exhibition:

  • Outdoor Action … Adventure Sports
  • Build Your World … Environment
  • Future Style … Style and Design
  • Kickin’ It … Entertainment
  • Game Plan
  • Robotics and Space
